Weekend Activity: Look there’s snow
Heavy snowfalls across Europe the last days and snow cover building up in many areas reminded us that its only a few more days before the lifts start running again. Here are two videos to warm you up for the new snow season soon to start in Europe, the U.S. and Canada.
The first one’s on a carnage at Fernie when about 150 people diving into Currie bowl at rope drop.
The second video is a great animation on the “dangers of snow” – about a bloodthirsty snow man hunting skiers and boarders.

Winter: Ice hotels around the world
Since 17 years now a temporary hotel is build from ice every winter in Sweden. The ICEHOTEL is situated in the village Jukkasjärvi, 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden. It started off with an Igloo and developed into a hotel with more than 60 rooms and suites each different from the other.
