Data Visualization: The Three Trillion Dollar War
An outstanding infographic by the Good Magazine on the true cost of the war in Iraq.

In Moscow, matryoshka – little wooden dolls – of Barack Obama have become one of the best selling souvenirs among tourists and Russians.
While before the election both Obama and McCain dolls were offered by shopkeepers, the interest in McCain dolls that even before November 4th had sold in much smaller numbers, has now more or less completely diminished. Or as one of the sellers put it “my stock in McCain dolls is now worth about as much as shares in Lehman Brothers”

Image: Change is coming
While we don’t like the idea to demonstrate any difference between people by the color of your skin, we are remembering that not so long ago (less than 30 years in some states of the U.S.) a person like Obama would have seen his parents arrested for the (difference in the) color of their skin and he himself would have been a complete outcast in normal life left alone political life.
So because of this and only because of this we believe the image below might visualize how big a step the U.S. has made yesterday with Barack Obama’s election for President.
