Design: PSST! 2 films released

PSST! 2 – a collaboration of different teams of designers, directors, and animators to produce short films has put all their new films online now. The nine films have been created by 27 different teams with more than 70 people over a 4 month period. Each film is comprised of three sections produced by three different teams. This process is the whole idea behind PSST! – a technique derived from the Dadaist game of Exquisite Corpse and the children’s game Telephone and applied to the arts of motion graphics, animation and film-making. Ever wondered how it would feel to drive around in Batman’s car. Well now you’ve got a chance to find out. One of the 1960s Batmobile created to promote the original Batman TV show is to be auctioned this month in London. The superhero’s car, said to be the sixth produced, is expected to sell for more than GBP75,000 (USD187,000) at Coys Spring Classics auction on February 27.
