To communicate the opening of their new shop on Port Island, Chuo-ku, Kobe the Swedish furniture shop IKEA has converted the Kobe Portliner Monorail into a moving showroom.

The new shop will open today on April 14 but the redecorated train, which features a colorful exterior, bright upholstery and fancy curtains, will continue to carry passengers in style until May 6.
