After Barack Obama’s and the Democrats’ landslide success in the fight for Presidency, the Senate and the House some reactions on the victory as published in mainstream media around the world today.
We have only chosen some quotes that we believe came from the heart of the person who said it:
REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CONTENDER JOHN McCAIN
“…We have come to the end of a long journey. The American people have spoken and they have spoken clearly.
“This campaign was and will remain the great honour of my life. My heart is filled with nothing but gratitude for the experience, and to the American people for giving me a fair hearing before deciding that Senator Obama and my old friend Senator Joe Biden should have the honour of leading us for the next four years…”
EUROPEAN COMMISSION CHIEF JOSE MANUEL BARROSO
“…This is a time for a renewed commitment between Europe and the United States of America. We need to change the current crisis into a new opportunity. We need a new deal for a new world.
“I sincerely hope that with the leadership of President Obama, the United States of America will join forces with Europe to drive this new deal – for the benefit of our societies, for the benefit of the world…”
AUSTRALIAN PRIME MINISTER KEVIN RUDD
“…Forty-five years ago Martin Luther King had a dream of an America where men and women would be judged not on the colour of their skin but on the content of their character.
Today what America has done is turn that dream into a reality…”
Now it’s time to first remove all those puppet players that have turned George W Bush’s presidency into such a misery and in a next step all the bailiffs, thugs and water carrier they installed in offices throughout the executive, justice, administration and the private sector. Without these moves no change will be possible or possible to be sustained.
It’s not over yet, but there’s a chance that it might soon get better. But as the saying goes: “We can see light at the end of the tunnel … could be a train“
Like it was said when George Walker came into power “the crazies are coming” now they must be swept out with an iron broom because this is the only language they understand.
I guess it might be a good idea if George Walker would already start working on that letter he will leave on his desk in the White House in January.
Now where’s that damned RESET button for the USA that we can all start over with a new deal

A very interesting speech by Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) during the congress debate on the so-called Bailout (transcript below)…
While we wait for the results to come in from Texas and Ohio take a moment, turn off and away from all the well shaped speaches you might tonight hear again. Today its 75 years ago that Franklin D. Roosevelt held his inauguration speech, his speech to seal the “new deal“. FDR’s “new deal” was [...]
Ohio congressman Dennis Kucinich suggested the $700 billion bailout package was sending America towards ‘casino socialism, where the only real product is debt.
Here it is. Obama’s 27 minutes styled through political message and positions that was broadcasted last night prime time on CBS, NBC, Fox, Univision, BET and TV One…
