The long awaited new version of Microsoft Flight Simulator will be hitting the stores next week. Microsoft Game Studios has further enhanced lots of the already exiting features of the previous version (Flight Simulator 2004).
Additional missions as well as new planes are include with many other new features. Microsoft has created a great Flash web site where you can browse interactively through the new features yourself.
A trial version that let you fly with three different aircrafts between two places in the Caribbean is available for download at MS Games web site (about 800MB).
MS Flight Simulator X will be available in two versions (Deluxe and Standard). The Deluxe Edition contains more planes, airports, cities, missions and tower control. Also included in this version is the SDK. Microsoft says that the application is enhanced for MS Windows Vista and graphics might even be further improved when running on that operating system.
